Knotted is a story about tragedy, sacrifice, trust and healing. However, they did come full circle and I liked the symbolism of the ending. While I did feel a connection between Conor and Jake, their reconciliation felt a little rushed. Additionally, the secret lost impact on me because it caused Conor so much unnecessary pain. When it was time for Conor to confront her demons, Jake took the lead and at times it felt like he was undermining her strength. In this narrative, a serious issue is at the forefront and then family complications further compound the situation.
